The Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport will be launched in Europe tomorrow. The model in question will be aimed towards customers looking something more than the current range of the C-Class has to offer but who are not interested in the range-topping AMG versions. This is offered in two body styles, sedan and wagon, and it is coming with the adjustable dampers, with the front pull rods, sprints and front axle carrier from the C63 AMG. Other features found on the two rides include the 360 mm front and 320 mm rear ventilated steel discs with the grey-finished calipers, covered by the standard 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/45 and 245/40 front to rear tires.
Mercedes-Benz says that the C450 AMG is carrying a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 engine under its hood, which is capable of producing a total output of 360 HP (270 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 517 Nm (382 lb-ft) of torque, available between 2,000 rpm and 4,200 rpm. The unit is connected to a 7-speed automatic transmission, which is powering the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the two models need 4.9 seconds (sedan) and 5 seconds (wagon) and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Deliveries of the two cars will begin in June and prices for the C450 AMG Sport Sedan will start from 59,976 EUR while the C450 AMG Estate will set you back for 61,642 EUR.
