Mercedes-Benz is getting ready to introduce yet another body style of the new S-Class generation, the Coupe, which is expected to make its market debut sometimes next year.
The German based automaker has already pulled the wraps off the concept variant of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe a few weeks ago, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, but the company is now getting ready to launch the real deal, the final production version of the model, which is believed to make its way onto the market in 2014. Reports are saying that the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe will also arrive in the United States in the same year.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe is believed to get a range of V8 and V12 engines under its hood, in its final production version, and it will also give birth to a drop-top version, the S-Class Convertible, which will be launched probably in a couple of years. The concept version of the S-Class Coupe, unveiled in Frankfurt, was believed to preview the S550 Coupe, with its 4.6 liter Biturbo V8 engine, producing 449 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque. More details on the S-Class Coupe’s production version remain unknown for the moment.
