The brand new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has been recently spied while it was being tested on a public road, wrapped in a lot of camouflage.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has already announced its plans to develop a Coupe version of the new S-Class generation, but no one outside the company knows what the model looks like and until it will be officially unveiled, or some photos will leak out of the assembly line, we will have to settle for spy photos. Our spy photographers have managed to catch the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe on camera on a public road, where the model was being tested.
The front end of the car looks to be different than the one of the new S-Class generation, and its headlights look like slimmer versions of the ones fitted on the SL. The carmaker is also working on a 3-liter twin turbo V6 engine, which will be fitted onto the model. The new S-Class generation will sit above the C-Class Coupe and the E-Class Coupe, and it will be based on the 2014 S-Class. This will replace the old CL and it has the tough job of entering the two-door luxury segment. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will probably be announced later on this year or even in early 2014, when it’s expected to be unveiled.
