The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is up for grabs in all key markets. After it was launched in Europe at the end of July and in China at the end of September, it is also available at dealers in the USA.

Daimler also announced that in just three months it received more than 30,000 orders for its flagship. The automaker also moved to introduce the S-Class model into the top three markets in just under twelve weeks, making the S-Class launch the fastest ever in the company’s history.

“Since its launch three month ago, the new S-Class has already jumped back into the lead in terms of new vehicle registrations in Germany and its neighboring European countries, seamlessly building on the success of its predecessor,” says Ola Källenius, Member of the Divisional Board Mercedes-Benz Cars responsible for Marketing & Sales. “Our customers around the world are raving about the cutting-edge design, the exemplary efficiency and the groundbreaking safety systems of the new S-Class.”

The S-Class also needs to play a more important role at the top of the Mercedes range, as Daimler closed down the Maybach ultra luxury brand, with the new generation to feature six body styles instead of just three.

Prices for the sixth-generation S-Class begin from around 72,000 euros ($92,600) with tax and reach the highest levels of comfort, even offering air purifiers for customers in China, the model’s largest market.
