A new rendering image with the so-called Mercedes-Benz S-Class Shooting Brake has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into a new possible body style of the model.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz will be offering the new S-Class generation in five body styles, once all versions will be ready, and these will include the regular four-door sedan, the long wheelbase, the Pullman, the Coupe and the Convertible, but some publications are also suggesting an estate variant of the model, which should follow the same path as the CLS, with its Shooting Brake model.
This hasn’t even been hinted by the car manufacturer but the image posted above makes us think that it won’t be such a bad thing that this vehicle could hit the company’s dealerships over the following months or years. Sadly, this isn’t anything more than a rendering posted by Theophilus Chin, so if you’re dreaming about it, you’re in for a big disappointment.
If the car manufacturer will indeed decide to put this model into production than it will ride on the same platform as its brothers and sisters and it will possibly be based on the regular four-door sedan version. The engine lineup will be shared with its “classic” brother, along with the interior and other features. More details on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Shooting Brake remain unknown.
