Our spy photographers have managed to capture the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullmann on camera while it was being tested out on public roads.
The development of the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman is no surprise anymore for anyone who is reading the automotive news as this has been hinted several times over the last year and now it seems that the German based automaker has started the development of the model. The test mule pictured below may have been wrapped in a lot of camouflage but that distinctive look is making it instantly recognizable. However, the final production version of the model may turn out to be different.
Rumor has it that the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullmann will stand at 6.4 meters in length and in the armored version, which is apparently the one pictured below, it will weigh a whopping 5,300 kg. The model is able to withstand hand grenades, continuous fire and explosions thanks to its armored steel body panels. This will get a 2+2+2 seating layout and it will be packing a V12 engine under its hood. Its starting price is said to stand at 920,000 euros and this should be unveiled next month, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. More details on it are limited for the moment.
