Abflug has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, a new upgrade package for the previous generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class.
After enlightening Toyota GT 86’s fans with a supercharged kit just a few days ago, Abflug is entering our news once again, this time with a new upgrade package aimed towards the previous generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class. According to the aftermarket specialists at Abflug, the upgrade package for the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is named the R230 Platinum and it changes its whole exterior design, except for the headlight and for the taillamps.
The German roadster has received a body kit which is made out of a new front bumper, a new engine hood with two cooling vents, new side skirts, a different rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, door panels, quarter panel extensions and a rear upper spoiler. The looks of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class in question are completed by the 20-inch black alloy wheels, wrapped in Falken performance tires, 255/30 and 305/25 in size, front to rear. The upgrade package will be officially presented to the public in January, during the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon. More details on it are limited for the moment and will be annpunced during the Japanese automotive event.
