Mercedes-Benz SL500 by Lorinser going to Essen Motor Show

The aftermarket specialists at Lorinser have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a custom body kit and power boost for the all-new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL500.

According to the tuning company, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL500 in question is getting an aerodynamic body kit which includes the wider front bumper, the custom side skirts, the wider rear bumper, the rear decklid spoiler, the rear diffuser, the sports exhaust system with four tailpipes and more. The model is now sitting on a new set of 20-inch RSK8 alloy wheels wrapped in 255/30 R20 tires in the front and 295/25 R20 tires in the rear.

The Mercedes-Benz SL500 by Lorinser is also getting a power boost and the 4.7 liter V8 engine is now producing a total output of 530 HP (390 kW) and 800 Nm of torque (590 lb-ft), from the standard 435 HP (320 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). The top speed limiter has been removed and the model can now reach a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). The 2013 SL500 in question has also been fitted with a lowering kit which is allowing the driver to lower the center of gravity manual for the versions fitted with the Active Body Control.
