The complete details on the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector’s Edition have been recently announced by the car manufacturer.
Being originally previewed just a day ago, the brand new Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG World Championship 2014 Collector’s Edition is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of the carmaker, which has announced the full details. The two vehicles in question have been designed in order to celebrate the manufacturers’ title won by the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team and the black one has been created with input from Lewis Hamilton, while the white one with help from Nico Rosberg.
The black SL63 AMG is coming with a design night black magno exterior design, with gold lettering, stripes and fins, with a chromed black finish for the exhaust pipes, black Nappa leather in the cabin, gold trim and several other tweaks. The white version of the model has the designo cashmere white mango paint, designo Himalayas grey finish on the daytime running lights surround, spoiler lip, lettering, door handles, wheels, front bumper insert and window trim, chromed black exhausts and so on.
Both vehicles are packing the same 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine, which is capable of producing no less than 585 HP (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 of torque. This is assuring a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). Prices for each of the 19 units which will become available will start at a whopping 320,110 euros, VAT included.
