New renderings with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLC AMG have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into the final production version of the model.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is already known to work on a supercar which will slot below the current SLS AMG, becoming a rival for the Porsche 911, and the model in question has already been caught on camera by spy photographers across the Old Continent. But if we didn’t have a clue on what the supercar might look like, things have just changed as a couple of renderings have hit the web and they are revealing the SLS AMG inspired front fascia, ventilated front fenders, aggressive rear end, dual exhaust system and some other tweaks.
The most important part of the Mercedes-Benz SLC AMG is definitely found under its hood, where rumors are saying that the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine might rest. This will probably produce a total output of 485 HP (357 kW), or 550 HP (404 kW). A Black Series version of the model might come with as much as 585 HP (430 kW). The final production version of the SLC AMG is believed to make its way onto the market in 2015. The model will be sold along with the SLS AMG, which will not be discontinued. Prices for the new sports car will probably start at approximately 109,000 euros.
