The Mercedes-Benz SLC has been recently spotted at the Nurburgring, with a lot of camouflage on its body, where the model is currently being tested.
After it was teased by the German based automaker just a couple of days ago, with the help of some official spy photos, the new Mercedes-Benz SLC, previously known as the “baby SLS”, is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with some rear spy photos, which have been shot at the company’s Nuburing test basis just a few hours ago. The images posted below are showing the SLC with heavy camouflage on its body but we can still spot the SLS influence.
The Mercedes-Benz SLC is coming with a long hood, with a sport rear end, a dual exhaust system, conventional doors, instead of the gullwing styled ones, and with some other tweaks. As for the engine lineup, this remains uncertain for the moment, but the new sports car might receive a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 unit under its hood, which will probably produce a total output of 485 HP. A top of the line Black Series version of the SLC could sport as much as 585 HP. The new SLC is expected to be launched in 2015 and to cost approximately 110,000 euros.
