The brand new Mercedes-Benz SLC has been caught on camera by our spy photographers on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz is currently working on the so-called “baby SLS” and in order to make sure that everything is in its right place, and working like it should, the company is testing the sports car. The new Mercedes-Benz SLC has been spied on the Nurburgring for the first time, but its design isn’t revealing itself just yet as the carmaker has wrapped the model in camouflage.
The Mercedes-Benz SLC prototype seems to be heavily influenced by its larger brother, the SLS, and the notable styling highlights include the sporty rear end, the long hood, the dual exhaust system but, unlike the more expensive version, this will receive normal doors, instead of the gullwing styled ones. Engine options are expected to include the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8, which should be good for 485 HP. A top of the line Black Series version is expected to produce as much as 585 HP. Prices for the model will start at 110,000 euros, once it will be launched in 2015. Additional details on the SLC remain unknown for the moment.
