Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new special edition of its cheapest roadster, the SLK, on the Japanese automotive market.
The so-called Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Carbon Look Edition has received some interesting AMG parts and exclusive finishes. The model in question is coming in right-hand drive and it will be produced in just 100 units, each one costing 6,700,000 yen, or the equivalent of 49,000 euros. The roadster has a Diamond White body color, the Magic Sky Control panoramic roof, which can change its clear or dark modes at the touch of a button or the 5-spoke 18-inch AMG wheels.
The Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Carbon Look Edition is also getting some carbon gray inserts in the cabin, with a pearl finish, black or gray Nappa leather, dedicated floor mats and some other tweaks, to set it apart from standard models. Power is being provided by the 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 181 HP and 270 Nm of torque. The unit is sending its power to the wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a reasonable 7.3 seconds.
