The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced the official starting price of the SLS AMG Black Series in Australia, which has been set at 639,000 AUD.
The most powerful version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the Black Series, is ending up in our news once again after being unveiled back in 2012, this time with the carmaker announcing its official starting price in Australia. According to the car manufacturer, out of the 10 units of the supercar available in the Pacific country, 8 have already been sold before hitting Australian soil, and the other two will probably find new owners until the supercar will arrive on the shores this July.
As a quick reminder, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is powered by the same 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is now producing a total output of 622 HP (464 kW) and 634 Nm of torque (468 lb-ft), achieved thanks to the new air intake, cam shafts, improved oil and water cooling and to some other tweaks. Mercedes-Benz says that the SLS AMG Black Series can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). Average fuel consumption stands at 13.7 L / 100 km and CO2 emissions stop at 321 g/km.
