Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series gets tweaked by mcchip-dkr image

German tuner mcchip-dkr has recently introduced an updated version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG may have left the production line in order to make room for its smaller brother, the AMG GT, but the Black Series version is still one hot ride to own and this has just become hotter thanks to mcchip-dkr. According to the tuning company, the model in question has received a power kit which is added to the 6.3 liter V8 engine. The ECU has been remapped and the total output of the supercar now stands at 654 HP (481 kW) and 649 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque.

The engine remapping has also lowered the fuel consumption, according to the guys at mcchip-dkr, but no official figures have been released on this. The tuning company is asking 3,199 euros for the Stage 1 kit mentioned above, but a more potent Stage 2 package is also planned in the future. We have no details on what this may include but chances are that, besides the extra output, the supercar will also get some visual tweaks, which will help it stand out from a crowd.
