Mercedes-Benz might present a new version of tis SLS AMG supercar during the Paris Motor Show in September, in the “shape” of a diesel.
With the improved version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the GT, on its way, the German supercar is once again highlighted, but not as you might expect. According a Polish website, the car company will pull the wraps off the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Diesel during this year’s Paris Motor Show and, even if there is no official word from the automaker on this subject, our source is saying that this isn’t a typo, so I guess we will just have to wait and see if this is for real.
As a quick reminder, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is getting an improved version this year, which will add the GT logo, and it will still get the 6.2 liter AMG V8 engine, but thanks to the reprogrammed ECU, the model is now developing an extra 20 HP, to a total of 591 HP, which is allowing the German supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT will hit the market in October this year and it will be priced at 204,680 euros for the Coupe and 213,010 euros for the Roadster.
