Mercedes-Benz has recently released more official images with the upcoming SLS AMG GT, which will basically be a refreshed version of the current SLS AMG.
According to the German based car manufacturer, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is getting, besides the small power boost, an improved response when downshifting along with a new suspension, improved throttle response, improved handling, minor modifications to the exhaust system, updated injection system and some other features which will make driving even more fun. Ola Kallenius, the AMG director, has recently announced that the new SLS AMG GT has lapped the Nurburgring in less than 7 minutes and 30 seconds, 5 seconds faster than the current SLS AMG.
The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT will get some exterior modifications too, like the darkened taillights and headlamps, the painted brake calipers, the high gloss finish for the exterior mirrors, hood, fender and grille, along with the GT logo added to the luggage lid. Thanks to some minor tweaks to the engine, like a modified ECU and more, the 6.3 liter AMG V8 engine is now developing a total output of 591 horsepower, which is 20 HP more than the standard version. The SLS AMG GT can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 11.2 seconds. On the local market, the supercar will be priced at 204,680 euros for the Coupe and 213,010 euros for the Roadster.
