The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently unveiled the CLA 45 AMG Racing Series and the CLA 250 Sports.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Racing Series and the CLA 250 Sports will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The CLA 45 AMG Racing Series will be offered as an entry-level customer racing team, with a stripped out cabin, some aerodynamic tweaks and, probably, some significant changes under its hood, which remain unknown for the moment.
Besides the new Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Racing Series, the carmaker will also prepare the CLA 250 Sports. The model in question is following the same recipe of the A 250 Sport hatchback and it will be a new derivative of the CLA. Power to the vehicle will be provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will produce a total output of 208 HP (155 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft), which will be mated to a 7G-DCT dual clutch transmission, sending power to the front-wheel drive. Additional details on the two models are limited for the moment and will be announced in Frankfurt.
