The first image with the fastback coupe based on the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class generation has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into a possible future model.
The BMW 4-Series Coupe doesn’t have a true competitor from Mercedes-Benz, one of its main rivals, but this is about to change, so don’t act to surprised if it will, after all. The image posted above represents a rendering, provided by autoprojecoes.blogspot.com, and we have to admit that we would wish for such a model to hit the market, but no official details on the subject have been announced yet.
This new fastback coupe has the shape of the new C-Class generation but it seems more appealing to the eye then, let’s say, the Audi A5 Sportback. If it will indeed get the green light for production, than the model pictured above will be sharing the same platform with the new C-Class generation, along with the same interior design, with slight updates, and the same engine lineup, which includes units ranging between 333 HP (245 kW) and 238 HP (175 kW), for the petrol burners. Diesel options range between 116 HP (85 kW) and 204 HP (150 kW).
