A new body style of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Coupe, is getting ready to be introduced by the end of 2015.
Spy photographers have already managed to capture the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabrio on camera, earlier this year, and it seems that the company is also working on the solid roof version of the model, the Coupe, which should be introduced by the end of 2015. According to a recent report, which has been published by Auto Motor und Sport, the model in question will be coming with a more aggressive design, which should put some space between it and the sedan.
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will be standing in at 4,690 mm long and it will be wider and lower compared to its predecessor. The cabin will be identical to the sedan, except for probably some minor tweaks. As far as the engine lineup goes, these will be carried over from the sedan too and they will include the 241 HP (179 kW) and 310 Nm (229 lb-ft) of torque 2.0L four-cylinder, the 3.0L twin turbo V6 with 329 HP (245 kW) and 479 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque, along with the AMG version which will pack the 4.0L twin turbo V8 from the AMG GT, producing 469 HP (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque and 503 HP (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft).
