Mercedes C450 AMG 4 Matic takes the Brabus tuning road, ends up with 405 hp image

The well known German tuning specialist Brabus has recently decided to take the midsize sedan for a ride, and has thus officially introduced its new modification package for the Mercedes C450 AMG 4 Matic.

The new tuning program has to do with delivering a stronger ride experience, as it includes the PowerXtra B30-410 upgrade that will take the biturbo 3.0-liter V6 powerplant to 405 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque – which is 43 hp and 37 lb-ft over the regular version – a rather restrained approach if we take into consideration the influx of Brabus rockets. Nevertheless, that extra oomph will enable the midsize sedan to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standing start in 4.6 seconds and then roar its way up to the maximums peed of 174 mph.

There’s also available a subtle body kit that utilizes a front lip spoiler, a rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. We also noticed the 19-inch Monoblock S alloy wheels and the our-tailpipe stainless steel sports exhaust system with electronically controlled butterfly valves that can be controlled by the driver. Speaking of the cabin, Brabus will also deliver to its clients a wide array of different options – from premium leather to Alcantara upholstery or wood and carbon fiber, while also passing through aluminum pedals, special floor mats, and illuminated sill plates with the Brabus logo.
