Now out and about for more than three years, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is suitably preparing for the arrival of a midlife cycle facelift – but before that happens we are also greeted by new, desirable options.
All four body styles benefit from the enhancements, starting with the sedan and wagon, which can now be optioned with dynamically-enhanced options such as the AMG Exterior line in combination with the Avantgarde Interior design line. Both will set themselves apart via the 18-inch AMG alloy wheels with a five-spoke design and a high-gloss black finish – and they also get standard perks such as LED headlights and interior enhancements, from ambient lighting and flat-bottom steering wheel to ash wood and aluminum trims.
Moving on to the coupe and cabriolet, the models lacking rear doors benefit from the addition of a Night Edition with numerous black accents, including on the 19-inch AMG alloys. They can be mixed with an AMG Line interior, with “Night Edition” badge on the center stack and options such as heated multifunction sports steering wheel, dual exhaust tips for the C180 model and Stowage Package now with two nets tucked behind the rear seat cushions. The C-Class Cabriolet can exclusively be had with a new Style Package with black / nut brown leather upholstery and contrasting turquoise stitching. The drop top also gains the Rear Seat Safety Package as a free upgrade, featuring cruise control (with limiter), side airbags, and adaptive belt force limiters for the outer seats.
