According to a recent report, the German based automaker will be wrapping up the production of the G63 AMG 6×6 this month and it will be focusing on the development of the G500 4×4. The Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 has rolled out more than a year ago and if the initial production run was said to be 20 to 30 units annually, the company has decided to pull the plug on it after 100 units. The model is taking its power from a 5.5 liter bi-turbo AMG V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 544 HP (400 kW) and a peak torque of 759 Nm (560 lb-ft). The unit is connected to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission which is sending power to the 6-wheel drive. The G63 AMG 6×6 is 5.87m long, 2.10 meters wide and it has a weight of 3,850 kg. The height is 2.30m and it is running on 37-inch tires.
