The German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has just launched an updated version of its SLK 350 roadster in India.
With an American auto market which is close to going down and an European one which will soon follow it, the Asian continent seems to be both “today” and “tomorrow” for the major car manufacturers which announce new models which will be launched locally.
This probably is the Mercedes-Benz version when they decided to launch their new roadster SLK 350 on the Indian auto market.
According to the manufacturer, the SLK 350 is powered by a 3.5 liters V6 direct-injection engine which is developing 306 horsepower and its exterior modifications include a new grille, new headlights, a longer bonnet, new body work and new tail lights.
The Benz SLK will be available in three versions, the SLK 200, powered by a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine generating 181 BHP, the SLK 250, powered by the same 1.8 liter only it will be generating 201 horsepower and the SLK 350.
The new SLK 350 roadster will be priced around 143.413 US dollars (INR 6.5m) in India.
