A series of new images with the recently unveiled Mercedes-Maybach have been recently released by Daimler, in order to mark the model’s availability.
One of the most luxurious vehicles money can buy these days, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, is now available for order. The cheapest version of the model has been priced from 134,053.50 euros, in the S500, while for the range topping S600, customers will have to pay 187,841.50 euros. The model stands at 5,453 mm long and it is riding on a 3,365 mm wheelbase, 200 mm larger in both dimensions than the S-Class LWB.
Daimler says that the luxury cruiser can be had in nine metallic colors, the palladium silver, magnetite black, iridium silver, peridot, black ruby, anthracite black, diamond silver, cavansitblau and obsidian black. In the cabin we can find the Nappa leather, which can be ordered in several color combinations, along with inserts such as the poplar wood gloss black, gloss brown burr, designo black piano lacquer, designo wood ash metalized, designo myrtle wood sunburst gloss brown and so on.
The S500 offered at this time has a 4.7 liter V8 engine under its hood, with 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The range topping S600 is getting a 6.0 liter V12 twin turbo engine under its hood, with 530 HP (390 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a 7-speed automatic. The S500 4MATIC will be added to the lineup next April.
