The official starting price of the recently unveiled Mercedes-Maybach S600 has been officially announced by the car manufacturer, in the United States at least.
In case you are living over-seas and you have your eyes on the recently unveiled Mercedes-Maybach S600, than you have come to the right place because the car manufacturer has officially announced the starting price of the luxury cruiser. According to the company, the cheapest version of the model will start from just 189,350 USD, without the 925 USD destination charge, and this isn’t that expensive considering the fact that the range topping S65 AMG will be setting you back for 222,000 USD.
What is separating the Mercedes-Maybach S600 from the regular S-Class is a wheelbase which has been extended by 200 mm (7.9 inches), to a total of 3,365 mm and a full length of the car standing in at 5,453 mm. The tough job of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 is going against models such as the Rolls-Royce Phantom or the Bentley Flying Spur, but knowing how the German carmaker is developing its vehicles we can say that that wouldn’t be that hard.
The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is packing in a 6.0 liter twin turbo V12 engine under its hood, which is capable of producing a total output of 530 HP (390 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque. The S500 will also become available, with its 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque from the 4.7 liter V8 biturbo engine, along with the S500 4MATIC, packing in a 3.0 liter V6 with 333 HP (245 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque.
