Mercedes-Benz has officially released two teaser images with the upcoming S600 Maybach, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
After being spied numerous times and with even more reports popping in, the Mercedes-Benz S600 Maybach is close to being officially unveiled, but until this will happen, the company has released two teaser images with the model. The vehicle in question is said to be sold as the “Mercedes-Maybach S600” and it will act basically as a successor of the defunct Maybach, being an extra long wheelbase of the new S-Class generation.
The luxury cruiser will be competing with some big names on the market such as the Bentley Flying Spur or the Rolls-Royce Ghost and it will come with stretched rear doors, with a modified front grille, updated C-pillars, more legroom in the rear, electronically adjustable and reclining individual rear seats and a lot of customization levels. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 will be taking its power from a 6.0 liter twin turbo V12 engine rated at 530 HP (390 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque. The model will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, and at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show too.
