Mercedes-McLaren SLR Roadster gets tuned by Famous Parts image

The aftermarket specialists at Famous Parts have recently pulled the wraps off their newest creation, an upgraded Mercedes-McLaren SLR Roadster.

Good news for those of you lucky enough to own a Mercedes-McLaren SLR Roadster looking to upgrade your rides because this is now possible thanks to the guys at Famous Parts. The tuning company is now offering a series of updates for the supercar, which include the tailor-made titanium exhaust system, the KW adjustable suspension or the brushed silver finish for the 20- / 21-inch ADV.1 5.2 MV2 SL wheels. Sadly it seems that Famous Parts isn’t offering a power boost to the impressive V8 engine. No pricing details have been announced yet.

The Roadster version of the McLaren SLR has been officially introduced in 2007 and it went on sale in September, the same year. Power to the impressive supercar was being provided by a 5.2 liter V8 engine, which is good for 617 HP (460 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque. The unit was mated to a five-speed transmission, which allowed the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 332 km/h (206 mph).
