Mercedes outs another C Class Cabriolet teaser, hides Easter Egg Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe image

We’ve actually seen the all new C Class Cabriolet out in the open spied without any sort of camouflage, so the latest teaser is useless to us as of now.

But since Mercedes has taken the Jeep approach and started including Easter Eggs in its communications (actually everyone does it more or less, just that Jeep is well known for doing it) – we recently saw the E Class interior reveal gallery also sport the model in the background. And now the latest teaser for the C Class Cabriolet is here to catch our attention with the depiction of another member of the C Class family. The open top C Class is coming next week to Geneva and we’re now expecting the fashionable gallery leak before the official online introduction, so let’s get on to the main event.

The roadster is among other members of the family and in the portrait we also see the Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe, this one sitting at the top of the range until the mighty C63 Coupe kicks in. The model should have been called Mercedes C450 AMG Sport Coupe, but Daimler recently decided to tidy up the nomenclature drawer and has issued the order to have all MG Sport models integrated into the main Mercedes-AMG division family. There’s already an available C450 AMG Sport Sedan that will soon be granted the C43 name. The sedan and coupe will have the same biturbo 3.0-liter V6 engine packing 62 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. The coupe will also feature the sedan’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive system mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
