Mercedes SLS AMG gets updated by Prior Design image

The aftermarket specialists from Prior Design have recently pulled the wraps off their newest creation, an update package for the still impressive SLS AMG.

The SLS AMG may have been replaced recently by the smaller, less powerful and cheaper AMG GT but that doesn’t mean that it is good for the scrap yard and in fact the supercar is still so good that it manages to attract a lot of tuning companies towards it. The newest one to create an upgrade package for it is Prior Design and the modifications have added a new wide body kit.

The final design of the SLS AMG by Prior Design is looking more aggressive than ever and this has been achieved thanks to the new front bumper, the front splitter, canards, the aerodynamic side skirts, the widened fenders, the ventilated hood, the prominent rear wing, the new rear bumper, the aggressive diffuser and several other tweaks which will put some space between it and its standard brothers.

We are not sure what engine is this particular supercar using under its hood or if the tuning company has made something to it but the standard one had a 6.2 liter V8 unit, rated at 563 HP (420 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 7-speed AMG SpeedShift DCT transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the standard SLS AMG needs 3.8 seconds and top speed stands at 315 km/h (196 mph). No pricing details for the modifications have been announced either.
