Mercedes has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 Unimog and Econic, which are adding some interesting features to the lineup.
The 2014 Mercedes Unimog has received LED daytime running lights, a prominent front grille, new windscreen wipers mounted above the window, improving visibility, and more. The cainb has gained optimized controls, a larger instrument cluster, improved heating and cooling system, front camera monitor, updated central tire inflation system and a removable joystick. Power to the 2014 Mercedes Unimog is being provided by Euro 6 compliant four- and six-cylinder engines, with outputs ranging from 156 HP (115 kW) and 354 HP (260 kW).
The 2014 Mercedes Econic has been also unveiled by the German based automaker. The model is coming with a new front grille, LED daytime running lights and stronger bumpers. The cabin of the vehicle has been improved with lockage storage compartments, additional sound deadening material and a new steering wheel. The 2014 Econic is available with a 7.7 liter diesel engine, which is good for 299 HP (220 kW) or 354 HP (260 kW). The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2014 Unimog and the 2014 Econic will go on sale later on this year and they will enter production in September.
