The German aftermarket specialists at VATH have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a new upgrade program for the Mercedes-Benz E500, which was named the V50S.
According to the car tuning company, the model in question has been equipped with a new carbon fiber body kit which is made out of a trunk-mounted spoiler, a rear diffuser, revised side grille, a new front spoiler and some other minor tweaks. The Mercedes-Benz V50S is also getting a retuned suspension module and a fresh set of 20-inch alloy wheels. The interior design hasn’t been left aside by VATH either and the tuner is offering carbon fiber, wood trim, sport steering wheel and premium leather upholstery.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz V50S by VATH is getting a total output of 513 HP (520 PS / 382 kW) and 810 Nm (597 lb-ft) of torque from the 4.6 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, thanks to an optimized ECU and a charge air cooling system, which is allowing the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The upgrade package has been priced at 32,250 euros.
