MG has recently announced its plans to introduce a special edition of the MG6 named the BTCC.
According to the British based automaker, treat the MG6 BTCC Special Edition has been produced in order to celebrate Jason Plato’s third place finish in the British Touring Car Championship. The car manufacturer is saying that the model in question is coming with unique exterior BTCC badging, drug with a matte black roof, vialis 40mg with MG KX Momentum Racing decals and the model is available in Arctic White. Chrome fender vents have also been added and the MG6 BTCC is now sitting on 18-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Dunlop sport tires.
The interior design of the model hasn’t been left aside either and it’s now getting sport seats, GPS navigation and leather wrapped steering wheel. The MG6 BTCC Special Edition is powered by a 1.8 liter turbocharged petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 160 HP (118 kW). This is enough to allow the model in question to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.4 seconds, before reaching its electronically limited top speed of 193 km/h (120 mph). Prices for the MG6 BTCC Edition start at 16,995 GBP and the model is already on sale in the UK.
