MG has recently announced its plans to introduce the CS Concept later on this week, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a world premiere.
After it has leaked just a few days ago, the brand new MG CS Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its plans to introduce the model during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a premiere. The model should be an evolution of the Icon Concept, unveiled back in 2012, in Beijing, during the automotive event, and it will be eventually transformed into a final production car.
The MG CS is previewing the company’s first production SUV and its styling has been the work of a design team lead by the MG global design director, Anthony Williams-Kenny. The model is expected to ride on the same platform as the MG5, and to get a 1.5 liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine under its hood, which should be good for 135 BHP (101 kW). Sadly we don’t have more details on the MG CS Concept for the moment and we will have to wait for the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show to open its gates, on the 20th of April, in order to find out more about the model.
