MG has recently introduced its newest creation up to date, the so-called Dynamo Concept, which is celebrating the company’s 90th anniversary.
MG is currently celebrating its 90th anniversary by introducing a new concept, called the Dynamo. The model in question has been created at SAIC’s European Design and Technical Center and this is basically an electric vehicle which has been designed to understand the European market for a small and electric MG, so changes are this will be transformed into a production model soon.
“MG celebrates the marque’s 90th anniversary year and looks forward to the next 90 years, with a display of current and future technology in central London today, including the global debut of MG’s concept electric vehicle” says the carmaker in its official press release.
The new MG Dynamo Concept is a three-door hatchback with a front fascia similar to the one of the Nissan Leaf, with a sloping roofline, LED fog lights and 5-spoke alloy wheels. Power is being provided by an electric motor, which is rated at 70 HP (52 kW) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) of torque. The 1,080 kg (2,381 lb) weighing concept car can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h (31 mph) in 5.3 seconds and it can travel for about 80 km (50 miles) on a single charge. It takes 30 minutes to charge the battery up to 80 percent, or 6 hours to fully recharge it.
