The famous American actor Michael Douglas is apparently sick of owning and driving a Toyota Prius, a fact confirmed by the image posted above.
We all know that Hollywood stars and rich people own a Toyota Prius because apparently they are concerned on the planet and they love tree hugging and collecting baby panda tears, which was probably the story with Michael Douglas too, but when “enough is enough” and you just can’t stand your ride, your face says everything. Just look at Michael Douglas’ face when he picked up his Prius from the valet recently.
As a quick reminder, the Toyota Prius is a full hybrid mid-size hatchback developed by Toyota Motor Corporation. The Prius first went on sale in Japan in 1997, becoming the first mass produced hybrid vehicle. The model was introduced worldwide in 2000 and it’s currently being sold in over 70 countries and regions, with the largest markets being Japan and the United States. The Toyota Prius XW30 is being produced since 2009 and the model is being assembled in Japan, Thailand and China. The “new” Prius has made its debut in January 2009, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit and its sales began on the 18th of May of the same year in Japan.
