MINI Countryman JCW unveiled ahead of Paris Motor Show image

MINI has unveiled the Countryman JCW ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.

The MINI Countryman JCW (John Cooper Works) is getting features like the individual rear buckets, a full aero kit and a fresh unique set of 18-inch alloy wheels and the model can accommodate four passengers. Future owners of the MINI Countryman JCW will be able to choose from seven exterior body colors and three shades for the roof and side mirrors. The British vehicle will be produced by Magna Steyr in Austria and it will get its parts from England.

Under the hood, the MINI Countryman JCW is powered by the 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with Valvetronic variable valve timing, direct injection and a twin scroll turbocharger, which will produce a total output of 218 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. The model will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.0 seconds. More details and images will be released at the 2012 Paris Motor Show at the end of this month, where the MINI Countryman will be officially presented to the public.
