Mini goes to the Essen Motor Show with John Cooper Works accessories image

The British brand has graced the Essen Motor Show in Germany with its presence and it hasn’t arrived alone, as it has a wide array of John Cooper Works bits and pieces to showcase.

For example the JCW has an optional valve exhaust silencer system for a better soundtrack or a coilover suspension that can be height adjusted between 10 and 30 millimeters (0.4 to 1.1 inches). The entire Mini range is also gearing up to receive a wide array of lightweight alloy wheels in 17- and 18-inch sizes, complete with numerous designs. The owners can also select upgraded brakes with four-piston fixed front calipers combined with perforated and grooved discs, while at the rear they find one-piston floating calipers – while all brake calipers have a crimson shade.

If you want to stand out from the crowd then the entire JCW-branded aerodynamic package will do the trick, also adding in a carbon fiber look for the air inlet cover and the side mirror caps for good measure. Side stripes, stickers and even optional mounts for GoPro cameras are also on the menu for any Mini. Inside the buyers can fit a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a gearshift lever knob, textile and all-weather floor mats, as well as LED door sill finishes and other tweaks. The JCW catalog can also add some power to the Cooper S Convertible and three- and five-door S hatchbacks – 19 hp (14 kW) to 211 hp (155 kW).
