The British based automaker MINI has recently announced that the John Cooper Works Countryman has been launched in the United States, where the model has a starting price of 35,550 USD.
The MINI JCW Countryman is coming with a full aero kit, individual rear buckets and 18-inch alooy wheels. Future owners of the MINI Countryman will have to choose between seven exterior body colors and three shades for the roof and side mirror. The model can accommodate four passengers and it’s being produced by Magna Steyr in Austria, with parts from England.
According to the car manufacturer, the MINI Countryman John Cooper Works is powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with Valvetronic variable valve time, a twin scroll turbocharger and direct injection, which will produce a total output of 218 HP and 221 lb-ft of torque. This will allow the MINI Countryman John Cooper Works to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 7.0 seconds. The base starting price for the crossover in the United States has been set at 35,500 USD. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment.
