The British based automaker MINI has recently released more official images with the fastest production MINI ever made, the John Cooper Works GP.
After it was launched in several markets already, including the United States and the United Kingdom, the MINI John Cooper Works GP is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer releasing more official images with the model. According to the company, the MINI John Cooper Works GP can already be bought in the United States from 39,950 USD, which is 8,800 USD more than the last generation of the GP.
MINI says that the John Cooper Works GP is powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 211 HP, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 150 mph. The fastest production MINI ever made is also getting a more aggressive styling, a leather steering wheel and gearshift knob, GP stitching, piano black trim, coil-over suspension, larger brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels and more. Only 2,000 units of the MINI JCW GP will be available worldwide, out of which 500 will be launched in the United States.
