MINI has officially announced the starting prices of the Paceman and Paceman John Cooper Works (JCW) in the United States.
According to the British based automaker, the MINI Paceman is now available for order in the United States starting at 23,900 USD, while the racier version, the Paceman S, is available from 27,500 USD. There are a few changes from the four-door Countryman on which the Paceman is based and the top of the line version, the JCW (John Cooper Works), is getting the same treatment, which is an aerodynamically body kit, a sports exhaust system with chrome tailpipes, the JW logos, a Chili Red interior trim, sport seats, sport steering wheel and 18-inch alloy wheels, with 19-inch available as an option.
Under the hood, the MINI Paceman JCW is getting a twin scroll turbocharged I-4 engine which is producing a total output of 208 HP and it has a peak torque of 207 lb-ft. These figures are a possibility thanks to the cooling system raise, to the crankshaft and to the modified pistons. The MINI Paceman JCW can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 127 mph. The model is also getting a six-speed manual / six-speed automatic transmission, a standard sport suspension and much more.
