The British based automaker MINI has released the very first images and details with the brand new Paceman JCW (John Cooper Works) version.
The newest model in MINI’s lineup is named the Paceman JCW and it’s the high performance version of the regular model which was officially presented to the public earlier this year. According to the British based automaker, the new MINI Paceman John Cooper Works is borrowing the same engine found under the hood of the Countryman JCW and this means that it’s powered by the 1.6 liter four-cylinder unit, which is producing a total output of 216 HP (160 kW) and it has a peak torque of 280 Nm (207 lb-ft).
The torque figure can increase to 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) with overboost, as the carmaker says. Even if the very first images and details with the MINI Paceman John Cooper Works have been released today, the car manufacturer didn’t announce any performance figures yet, but we know for a fact that its four-door brother, the Countryman JCW, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph). Additional details on the MINI Paceman JCW are limited for the moment and will be announced soon.
