The British based automaker MINI has recently released more official images of the brand new Paceman JCW.
The MINI Paceman JCW (John Cooper Works) has been officially presented to the public just a few weeks ago during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show and it was also announced for market launch in March next year but now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing more official images with it. The new MINI Paceman JCW is getting the aerodynamic body kit, the JCW logos, the sports exhaust system and the 18-inch alloy wheels, along with some other minor tweaks.
The newest mode to wear the JCW in its name signed by MINI is powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 208 HP at 6,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 207 lb-ft with over boost, available between 1,700 rpm and 4,500 rpm (192 at 1,850 rpm – 5,600 rpm). The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, or to a six-speed manual, depending on the version chosen, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7 seconds and reach a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph). The price list of the MINI Paceman JCW will be announced close to its launch.
