MINI Roadster by Franca Sozzani auctioned for EUR54,000 image

The MINI Roadster designed by Franca Sozzani was auctioned for a whopping 54, 000 euros at the AIDS Solidarity Gala for HIV projects.

After it was officially presented to the public just a day before writing this article, the MINI Roadster designed by Franca Sozzani is once again highlighted, this time with the manufacturer announcing its sale during an auction. The vehicle in question is the most expensive MINI Roadster ever and the model has been sold at the AIDS Solidarity Gala for HIV projects in Vienna, during the 20th annual Life Ball.

“The concept behind the MINI customisation is inspired by the beautiful and elegant women who in the past used to wear a scarf draped around their head when driving a convertible”, said Franca Sozzani. “Flowers are a symbol of joy and life. And the Life Ball is always fighting for life and joy”, added the UN Goodwill Ambassador for Fashion 4 Development.

The MINI Roadster in question has been designed by Franca Sozani, the Editor of Italian VOGUE, and the model is coming in a Deepest Purple matt livery with two gold hallmark rally stripes. The interior design has been treated with florad decorative prints and the wheels and wing mirrors have been painted gold. The model is powered by the standard engine, which is developing 181 HP and 260 Nm of torque.
