The German mother-brand BMW will introduce a new Special Edition of its Mini for the United Kingdom auto market, named after the London boroughs, districts, streets and landmarks, Soho.
With the four-door crossover, the Countryman, a new Coupe, the Roadster following and the new generation coming in three years, Mini has to do whatever it can to keep interest in its models. This is what the Soho Edition is all about.
The best thing for London future owners of the Soho Edition is that they won’t have to pay the Congestion charge, as the car has CO2 emissions of just 99g/km and an average fuel consumption of 74.3 mpg.
The Soho Edition will be available with only the 1.6 liter Cooper and the Cooper D and the most eye-catching feature is the White Silver metallic paint which isn’t available with any other current model.
The “new” Mini also has 17-inch Black Star Bullet alloys, Bi-xenon headlights, a 3-spoke leather steering wheel and “Piano Black” interior surfaces.
Future customers of the Mini Soho Edition will have to pay 16.765 pounds to get their hands on the car, which will be available only until March 2012.
