Two brand new renderings envisioning the recently unveiled MINI Superleggera in a production version have just hit the web.
If you have closely watched the last weekend’s 2014 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, in Italy, than you definitely know what the MINI Superleggera is, but if you haven’t, don’t worry, because the car manufacturer didn’t announce any details on a possible future production version of the model. This however hasn’t stopped Theophilus Chin into creating, virtually at least, a showroom ready variant of the impressive one-off roadster concept, signed by MINI. Chances are that this model may never hit the assembly line, but we still have to admit that this is one good looking vehicle.
The MINI Superleggera Vision Concept is coming with a bespoke Como Blue paint job and it has some hand crafted soft curves. The model in question is also getting some carbon fiber reinforced plastic side sills, a distinctive rear fin, a minimalist cabin with an aluminum covered dashboard, premium leather, digital instrument cluster, 3-spoke steering wheel or an analog clock, to set it apart. Sadly the car manufacturer didn’t release any performance specifications and we don’t even know what is powering it.
