Misha Designs upgrades the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG image

The aftermarket specialists from Misha Designs have recently created an upgrade package for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

Despite leaving the production line in order to make room for its lighter, less powerful, cheaper and smaller successor, the AMG GT, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is not ready for the scrap yard just yet, as tuners are starting to find out. Misha Designs has chosen the German supercar for some modifications which have brought it a new body kit. This is adding the custom front bumper with its larger air vents, the two cent covers on each side for the added hood piece, the new side skirts finished in matte black, the side vent covers which are mimicking the ones on the hood, the new rear bumper with diffuser and several other tweaks.

In order to drop some weight from the supercar, Misha Designs has created many of the body parts from carbon fiber, and these are available at an additional cost, including the side skirts, hood vents, front bumper lip, side vents, wing blade and diffuser. Last but not least, the SLS AMG has been fitted with a new set of 21-inch ADV.1 Wheels. No performance modifications have been made to the model in question so expect the same 6.2 liter V8 engine under its hood, which is rated at 563 HP (420 kW) at 6,800 rpm and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,750 rpm. The unit is connected to a 7-speed sports AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT transmission.
