Mitsubishi boss: “Don’t know why people buy our cars. They’re old and expensive” image

The new Mitsubishi Australia boss, site look Mutsuhiro Oshikiri, order has recently said that he doesn’t understand why Aussies keep buying Mitsubishis because they are old and expensive.

Mutsuhiro Oshikiri has joined Mitsubishi Australia 10 weeks ago but his opinion on the product offered by the company which he is representing can be questioned by his superiors and highly appreciated by customers because an automaker rarely speaks the truth about its vehicles.

“In most cases we have a similar complaint (on a car) and we feel shame because if everybody says different (problems with the car) it’s OK, recipe but if everybody says the same thing, we are idiots – we didn’t do the proper thing”, as Mutsuhiro Oshikiri told smh.drive.com.au.

“Our cars are old and we need more value for money. I don’t know why people buy a Mitsubishi. That is a simple question, difficult answer that I have to think about for the next three or four months. What is the benefit? Why do we have to be here? What is the future? I have to find out”, added the Mitsubishi Australia chief executive.

Oshikiri says that he needs a few months to find out the answer to all of those questions but honestly we don’t think that he has more than a few days with Mitsubishi Australia. So there you have it, folks, if you live in Australia, ditch you Mitsubishis and buy Toyotas or Hondas.

He should be promoted….there is nothing to hide, reality is that pipeline is empty and slow decision making driven by accountants are killing the innovative spirit of such good brand…
