Mitsubishi GR-HEV Concept officially unveiled

The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the GR-HEV Concept, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Mitsubishi has already announced its plans to introduce two new concept cars during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, but until now, the company didn’t release any details on them. The very first concept car to make its way onto the 2013 Geneva Motor Show is named the GR-HEV, and it’s previewing the future generation of the L200 pick-up truck, which should make its way onto the market in a couple of years.

The Mitsubishi GR-HEV is taking its name (HEV) from Hybrid Electric Vehicle and it’s a modern pick-up with aggressive lines, which is combining a diesel engine with an electric motor. Official figures haven’t been released by the car manufacturer just yet but rumors are saying that CO2 emission will not go past 149 g/km. Additional details on the Mitsubishi GR-HEV Concept, as well as on the other concept car made by Mitsubishi, are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, on the 5th of March.
