Just in time for next week’s worldwide public debut, the Japanese automaker has officially debuted online the new L200 and ASX GEOSEEK concepts that have a wide array of accessories.
The two prototypes, which actually look quite ready for production duties, have been delivered to entice adventurous, outdoor fans and have tweaks that allow for a more rugged look and feel of the vehicle. Both concepts are linked via the solid pearl grey body hue that receives a striking orange finish for the fog lamp bezels, rims, fender lips, tailgate spoiler, rear bumper, mirror caps, and even the side garnish. The front grille features a mesh inner insert and there’s also a skid plate and a roof rack able to support all the needed gear for camping or bicycles.
The L200 (or Triton for certain markets) GEOSEEK also packs a set of working lights and hand holds attached to the roof rails while the ASX Geoseek has been granted LED fog lights. Mitsubishi has not revealed images with the interiors yet, but the company said both concepts have a mostly black trim theme with contrasting orange accents that mirror the exterior finish. The seats feature a suede-like fabric with a low-slip surface on the side bolsters and a mesh fabric for the center panels for better ventilation. The Mitsubishi L200 and ASX GEOSEEK concepts will be featured in Geneva next week next to the eX concept that will receive its European premiere.
